Located in a village, just 30 minutes away from Jaipur’s historical center is our eco-friendly Unhotel – A Designer’s Hideaway. It is set on a 12-acre estate of trees, lush gardens and farmland with its own produce. With a mix of luxury and premium rooms, this retreat is the perfect blend of elegance and traditional Rajasthan. There is tons to do here – whether you choose to attend block printing or pottery classes, book yourself into the spa or go on a heritage walk, we guarantee a gala time.
A Designer’s Hideaway has a total of 14 rooms – either premium or luxury, each named after Indian flowers or precious gemstones and each one’s decor is inspired by nature with handpicked furnishing from all over Rajasthan.
Each room has either a sun terrace, or an additional glass-enclosed patio with gorgeous views of the estate, or an attached balcony overlooking the pool. Some even have fireplaces. Ensuite bathrooms have rain showers with views of the tree-tops.
A Designer’s Hideaway has a unique ‘natural swimming pool’ which uses chemical-free water drawn from deep bore wells later recycled for irrigation.
Guests can also relax and unwind in the spa here or rejuvenate at the fitness center.
The list of activities here are endless – you can play a number of sports including tennis, cricket or table tennis; take a leisurely stroll or cycle through the neighbouring villages; go on a birdwatching spree, use the library or watch movies.
The Unhotel also offers a range of workshops and experiences like block printing, village tours, camel cart rides, yoga lessons, detox workshops, heritage walks in Jaipur, and day trips to nearby places such as the temple town of Pushkar, Chand Baori, the Bharatpur bird sanctuary, and the Barefoot College at Tilonia.
Breakfast is complimentary; lunch and dinner will be served at an additional cost.
All meals are served at the Hibiscus Court, a delightful restaurant whose philosophy is farm-to-fork: organic, healthy, vegetarian and local.
The delectable food here is all made from homegrown produce and the cuisine is a blend of north and south Indian.
Mouth-watering delicacies include farm fresh guava juice, delicious masala omelettes, hand-made 7 grain rotis, Indian style smoked eggplant baba ganoush and authentic Rajasthani pickles and fruit chutneys.
The restaurant itself is set in a beautiful ambience of ancient trees, flowering shrubs like hibiscus and lush gardens. Meals are generally served outside in the midst of the calm countryside; most of the time, dinner is a romantic candle-lit affair.
